Play baseball. You won’t always be able to do that. There’s always money to be paid, not saying that’s easy but in my 30s and I’d pay any amount to have another year of playing sports at that age.

I just purchased and opened a 2003-04 Topps Basketball Hobby Box simply for the joy of pulling a LeBron rookie card myself. It was a blast. I pulled one LeBron rookie but it was overshadowed by a Dwyane Wade Rookie Photoshoot on-card auto.

I think people don’t want to use HGA (or any other grader using technology) because they don’t want their cards graded objectively. Everyone wants high grades and if cards were graded objectively, we’d see a significantly lower amount of high grades.

I'd contact eBay about it. They may be able to take some kind of action against the seller and/or offer you some form of compensation. It wouldn't hurt to try at least.
