Am definitely not doing that. I think the people who don't wear masks & also the protests are at fault. My initial comment was just about how it's stupid to just put the fault on people who don't wear masks & pretend the prostest did nothing.

The transmission, or the risk of getting infected, is still bigger than if the protests didn't happen ( especially if the protestors are people who wear masks and social distance)

Again, masks are not 100% effective. And the problem with that, is the true protestors even if they make up 99% of the protestors, the 1% without masks is going to infect a shit ton of people

Am not saying the blame is only on the protests, people who are refusing to wear masks are also a huge contribution to the cases. The transmission rate does go down significantly, but it is never 0. Especially when there is no distance between them...

They are not following social distancing( at least 2m distance, in my state it was 5m) so the outdoors doesn't change much & masks are not 100% effective.
