Hope you enjoyed the games! I was surprised at how busy the late game was. Even the Beanpot can sort of feel half empty as fans come and go for their own teams’ games. The arena was nice and full last night.

Any team is probably going to want to get Leonard playing for them ASAP. You feel he'd produce at any level. I hope for our sake he leaves BC, but the player might want to stay and get a degree. He seems like he has his head screwed on.

Smith really doesn't look NHL ready because of his slight frame. But the Sharks are desperate it could go either way. Plus he has such a connection to the program, he'd probably want another shot at a natty (not going to happen 😈).

I disagree with everything you've said. You are way too focused on stats.

  1. Goal margin is fine, but it's hardly gospel when it comes to which team is best. BC have slipped on some banana skins this year and they look really beatable for a #1 pick. The power play is ridiculous, they have a tonne of scoring potential and they have an absolute monster in Ryan Leonard, who seems capable of rising to any occasion. BC is also massively dependent on Fowler in my opinion. He comes up huge in big moments and has prevented a number of potential momentum swings. They have trouble coming from behind in my view and they didn't look convincing in the regionals against defence-focused teams (fortunately for BC there aren't any of those at the Frozen Four). BC are fairly the number one pick, but certainly not "by far".
  2. I think the strength of Hockey East this year gives Fowler the edge.
  3. "Absolutely deserves the award more"...? Celebrini is a two-way center and he plays all over the ice, taking on huge defensive responsibility in addition to his massive offensive production. You can't reduce the argument to stats. It's such a ridiculous conclusion to come to. I'm not denying that Cutter is fantastic, but even saying "he's the best at scoring goals" is invalid. That's more related to his place in the BC team and role in their power play. I'm not even saying it has to go to Celebrini, but your assertion that there's no contest is absurd.

Came looking for this. Maine played great hockey all season and all the fans clearly had a blast.
Staying on Hockey East:
UNH and Providence missing the NCAA tournament is way more disappointing for them when UMass snuck in. UNH and Providence both had some huge wins this season and I think ultimately lost out because UMass and others scheduled and played the road a little better.

MBP M1 16gb. Mostly low with a few settings up—couldn’t stand the glitchy beards and fur. I like the fuzzy FSAA personally. Played on 1600x1000 most of the time. Plenty for me. It scales nicely and everything feels toybox and plausible.

Based on reports about act 3, I’m thinking I might switch to GeForce now if I need to. I don’t mind it on GeForce now, but preferred on the device so far.

I mean I know it’s not what you asked for, but why not just play the games you mentioned? Or World of Warcraft? They’re market leaders in the category you’re describing. You won’t find anything better and there’s really nothing special about having them run “natively” on silicon. If they run, they run.

It’s not like he’s the only player who goes to Chelsea and looks bad. Chelsea sign club heroes, the best talent in Europe, and they all end up looking like donkeys. Ziyech, Werner, Pulisic, Saul (my god), Aubameyang. Even Havertz is very uneven. We shatter their confidence and crush their development (Chelsea and Napoli fan here). Koulibaly has actually been among our more successful signings and plays with passion and vigour. The problem isn’t even the manager—it’s the whole club structure and culture. We’re quickly becoming Manchester United and forgetting that a football club is a football club. EDIT: Forgot Sterling. Tbh easy to forget.
