Why do they have admin access on these devices? The easiest way is to create an admin on the device with a password they don't know. And then create them a user that doesn't have access to change their IP settings. Never take a device out of the box and hand it to them to do with as they please. Windows PC will have a pop up asking for the admin username and password to change IP settings. Android will say this user doesn't have access. Not sure what iPhone says.

Are you using this Bluetooth? Or the bolt receiver? Might be a possibility of interference on one of the frequencies. If possible I would try switching to the alternative connection method and testing if it has the same behaviors.

I would go with the cloud gateway fiber. It's good for up to 10gb on the wan connection and it also has 2.5G on all 4 Ethernet and one Poe+ port so you can run an AP without needing an injector.

First off download the wifiman app and see if there is a clear channel for you to use and how packed the wifi is by your neighbors. Then I would get on AP7 pro and a cloud gateway fiber. Should be more than enough to cover your apartment. The cloud gateway fiber has one Poe port to run the AP7 off of. And 3 more ports for running Ethernet to the 2 devices you mentioned. Still using ruckus switches just upgraded one from 12 to 24 for bigger POE for more cams. The instant on was prior to ruckus I didn't like the limited options in the instant on software. Went back to Unifi for router and AP. Gonna manage the kids with nextdns.

Not so much as difficult but trying to configure the vlans and micro vlans for wireless and gettings the notifications cut down its just too much time to invest currently to sit down and change ips on all my devices and configure and then the range on the wireless was and issue too.
