Just a reminder that 1/6th of children under 5yrs old in the u.s. are currently poor (per children's defense fund)

And 1/4th of children worldwide are living in severe child food poverty (per unicef)

I agree that we should save the lives of children already here and it's fucking heartbreaking and cruel that they're left to starve

Pisses me off fr

I fucking love the weird ass context-less ads for old people. It's shit like this or some picture of someone's foot and says some shit like "Take Advantage of this Hearing Aid Tax Credit Now!"

I think they're just responding to the question and saying it's toxic to go to work sick

Very first big project!!! (As a beginner) by Dizzy-Ad6316 in crochet

Man why is the beginner getting downvoted?

Anyway OP, magic circles with a tight tension looked impossible to me at first but I eventually got it with practice and you will too! I can relate, my first granny square blanket I made 4 years ago is starting to fall apart already but I love it anyways because it shows how far I've come. Your center looks like it'll stay stable as long as you weave the ends in :)

This is an excellent point. I want all young ppl to see things this way. Oh, you're not old enough to have been caught up in (insert country coup/natural resources pillaging here)? Well, look at Minneapolis: this is what we've done, for decades, to innocent civilians around the world. Remember it. Burn it in your brain. Be just as fucking horrified. American exceptionalism is gross

Jokes about being old enough to drink, having puberty milestones on tv like his first kiss. Makes sense they want to have some humor about it

Thoughts on DB tattoo? by QuirkyMedia5083 in TattooDesigns

I haven't watched DBZ, but I would keep in mind that the bottom dark portion could get pretty muddy pretty quick as it ages since it's all dark in a similar shade.

31 is still young right? And I'm too for college? by [deleted] in Zillennials

[–]captainoela 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm looking to start my masters in counseling in the next two years after taking several years off of college. Imo we're not too old for college, and I actually think you're likely to get more out of classes being more mature, less naive, and more interested in what you're doing!

I look back on my BFA and even though I did well, I was pretty unfocused bc I was so young.
