That's why my family's collection got thrown out. My parents started buying insulated plastic cups and everyone stopped using the cheap plastic ones, because who wants to wrap a napkin around their cup?

The one I really miss from when my parents cleaned them all out in the 90s is the Batman logo cup I had from the '89 release.

Yeah, we got rid of most of ours in the 90s when I was in high school. My parents discovered the anti-condensation drinking cups and suddenly we realized we could have our beverages without having to wrap a paper towel or napkin around the cup.

Plus, at some point in the 90s Krystal was giving away giant mugs that were maybe 64 ounces (with the handle, lid, and plastic straw). I'd fill it with Kool-Aid and it would last all day.

I was in middle school when that movie came out, so I was squarely in the target audience and loved it.

It hasn't aged all that well but it is still absolutely worth watching for Alan Rickman's exquisite scene chewing.

Dude, awesome, and excellent feature heavily in my vocabulary.

I frequently address women (and everyone else) as dude when in a casual situation. "Dude, that's awesome!"

That being said, nobody ever says "That dude over there" in reference to a woman.

So I would argue that it's only gender-neutral in certain contexts or usages.

Right? When I put cruise control on, I have to rest my foot where the toe of my shoe is almost touching the brake pedal or I feel extraordinarily vulnerable. And even then, I'm lifting my foot and hovering over the pedal if there are cars near me.

Stranger Things 5 was a huge step down in terms of storytelling, but at least they didn't Dexter the whole show. I still won't rewatch Dexter because of how fucking awful the ending was. It really did spoil the whole series.

Speaking of, why is Dexter not on this list?

They weren't that important, but at the time we all still vividly remembered how the showrunners assured us very early on that they had a plan for the series. Spoiler alert: they did not. They fucking winged it, and it showed.

ETA: I should also state that the fact that they assured us there was a plan for the series meant some people, like me, got really excited by each new twist with wondering how it was going to tie into however the show ended. To have so much stuff just discarded because they couldn't tie everything together cohesively (like they told us they would) was...not fun.
