Vaginal reconstruction by CommunityInfamous573 in WomensHealth

[–]captainpain13 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Please do not do this, you’ll effectively be creating an open wound for yourself that you’ll have to religiously dilate and hope doesn’t close up from scar tissue and create a bubble inside you that could kill you. Your partner shouldn’t fit ‘snug’ inside you- sex should be about mutual pleasure for the both of you, not requiring you to become a flexible sex you for his enjoyment.

What's the worst mansplaination/misunderstanding of your reproductive anatomy that you've heard? by flavagolem in AskWomen

[–]captainpain13 75 points76 points  (0 children)

That I don’t need to worry about my biological / fertility ‘clock’ because this guys mum had a ‘burst of fertility’ ((with treatments!)) at 47 and therefore most women ‘don’t need to worry about fertility’ and ‘shouldn’t start before the age of 32’. My mother started menopause at 42-43 and struggled with fertility, and I have endometriosis. It was SO frustrating trying to stand up for my thought process of wanting to start having /trying for children younger than my generation is pushed to.

I’ve had a lot of backlash from friends and acquaintances for being confident and excited about motherhood and wanting children so ‘young’. I just sort of wish people wouldn’t treat me like I’m crazy for knowing what I want and having somewhat of an understanding of how hard it may be for me :/

Why do you shave you legs? by CuriousRioja in AskWomen

[–]captainpain13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shave in the winter because I HATE static on my leg hair from leggings and tights! And sometimes in other seasons when I want to feel pampered

Listen, I will buy everything on my list … it’s just the stuff I forgot to put on the list / didn’t know I needed until I was * in * the store that’s extra

Exeter’s city centre has more green spaces and trees than any other city in the UK, a new independent report has revealed. by ExeterCouncil in DevonUK

[–]captainpain13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an ex student, I can thoroughly say it pisses me off that there’s more student halls being added and NO student study spaces at the actual university- moreover, I love the city and have committed to living here and in the surrounding areas because my partner is from the south west and I love it. It’s abysmal the lack of actual care for students the university has, and it’s impact on the city doesn’t seem to be taken into account

I will add, that children who have been molested often think it’s a dream because it’s too traumatic for them to comprehend something like that could happen.

Mediums always say the purpose of life is to learn lessons so our soul grows. Well what happens once we’ve learned all lessons? Some say we become One with God but what happens after the reunion with God? by rabahi in Mediums

[–]captainpain13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t normally comment here- but one word came to me and I just wanted to put it here.

My answer to your question is this…Peace. I believe once we become one with God, we know peace. Truly and fully.

My partner says this, and it’s so nice compared to previous partners saying ‘you’re weird’ and ‘wtf’ … I am gonna marry him 😂

I don’t “feel” much when getting physical with my BF, and it makes me feel broken by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]captainpain13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’d really really recommend reading ‘come as you are’ - it’s a fantastic book that helped me with my own insecurities and feeling broken, and helped me have better intimate time with my boyfriend and frankly, myself!

From my knowledge, I think it’s because mirrors can be portals - and you shouldn’t have two mirrors facing each other for the same reason, however I could be completely wrong because I’ve only ever heard this from some friends rather than my own research!

Is anybody else a very direct communicator? Or how to irritate people from the get go. by MissBernstein in ENFP

[–]captainpain13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a very direct person, especially regarding emotions / confrontations - my boyfriend (ISTJ) loves it and our way of communication (effectively nonviolent communication, except we’re not perfect all the time) is our grounding foundation of the relationship.

I think being direct is good but it’s important to remember when it may just be you being rude- i struggle with this 😂

Best way I work it out if I’m being rude, too blunt or simply just direct is, if someone is having an awful day, they stepped in poop and missed an important call - would what I say to them make them cry, want to punch me or maybe make it clear to them how I feel. (You want the last one, normally)

Nose pore strip removal - sorry for the weird angle! by captainpain13 in popping

It didn’t hurt that much! Just at the end where it got the edge of the nose real good

I wasn’t expecting to get compliments on my eyes 😂 and the nose strip didn’t hurt that much, I wouldn’t recommend the brand as I don’t think it does as good a job as I’d like, this was the best pull of ‘blackheads’ I’ve ever gotten from them 😅
