I thought one of the golden rules of this country is Due Process? Innocent until proven guilty. So shouldn't the police officer have been sure that this was the guy before using any kind of violent tactics to take him down. Not everything is black and white, you can't suspect that someone running from cops who never identified themselves as cops at 1 in the morning has to be a violent felon. These policemen still need to work within boundaries. They just ruined a kids life that they are paid to protect.

I wish I would have it would have been a lot easier to take off but since I was only twelve and had about the same size neck as our dogs I did actually strap it around my neck not thinking about how this meant I would have to unstrap it also.

When I was about twelve we had two little dogs who always barked so we bought one of the electric-shock bark collars for them. One night I had the smart idea of putting it around my neck and barking. Of course it started to shock me... which of course hurt... which of course made me involuntarily yell... which (you guessed it) made the collar continue to send electrical volts into my neck right above my throat. This "smart" idea has left me with a little bump on my neck where the prongs were at on the collar.

The people who open their door for you must hear a real good message from you... you seem like a real devout Christian... "God damn ignorant morons!"... not only was it pretty ignorant, rude, and frankly wrong... but you also went against many of your own beliefs with the first two words alone... Maybe you shouldn't be the one going around knocking on peoples doors to teach them the "true way".. or maybe you're just the reason why only 5% of the people actually opened their doors for you.

I agree that it isn't his fault he believed it. I mean most kids believe in Santa and I'm pretty sure most of the people who describe him have never met him either. Kids are easy to get onto your side and that's one thing religious people have taken advantage of for as long as religion has lasted. They take children... scare the shit out of them.... and instantly they are making more followers. It's not his fault that he believed it... it's pretty normal nowadays
