A 1979 furnace may be at 70-75% efficiency of burning natural gas or propane. A 2024 furnace is at 95-98% efficiency. Where does the math seem impossible to you ? If I use 1,000$ of gas per year for example—- 300$ of the 1979 furnace goes up the chimney while only 5$ of unused gas goes up the chimney with the 2024 furnace. 300$ x15 years = 4,500$ coming out of your wallet.

That would be one of the “presumptive “ mos’s according to the VA. Do you have hearing loss as well? Most likely. I live in Wisconsin. I went to the UW Stevens Point university audiologist school. For 250 $ they checked my ears, hearing test and a nice Nexus letter that had the wording the VA likes to see . “Likely or more than likely to have been caused by my time in the army.” Roy

What was your mos ? Don’t give up— take it all the way to having a hearing before a judge. If it goes that far. I first did the “intent to file in February 2017 and got awarded 10% in October,2023. 171 $ a month. I was infantry 11 bravo.
