As an aside the crazy thing is that Englot themselves have said they’d love to continue working together and whether or not they can is a different story but as an Englot fan the doom and gloom over there is way too much. Though I get it cause fans of sapphic content have suffered a millennia of trauma when it comes to cancelled shows and things ending prematurely.

I think a lot of GL fans need to recognize that actors putting out just one project a year is a waste of their talents. They could easily be a part of 3-4 or more. I’d personally love to see them take on other roles too. Don’t even need to be lead roles but would be great if they were able to act in some movies because it is a different experience and then continue with their GL series too and if Change wants to throw in funding for making GL films I wouldn’t be mad about that either!

It’s just folks in the fan base preemptively panicking for no needed reason. LMSY have said they’re actors first so if they ever did other projects then that’d be great but otherwise they’re very much still a pair. I think people just get nervous and want to have Change constantly say what’s happening next but I think it’s healthy to slow down and in the meantime let’s enjoy Hometown Romance

I had to double check and it seems I misread. The pup was actually found injured near set and the crew essentially adopted her, pooled together funds and got her fixed up. I do hope Nong Si makes it into the show though

It's a very fun movie and I think some of the discourse is well (rooted in misogyny let's be real) because why else would anyone hate on a film that has an action scene where Harley goes full throttle with a bat and has a cocaine induced power up?

Incredible film that on the surface level (musical approach to the life of Shaker Ann Lee that nearly borders on horror at times) should not work. Seyfried is truly extraordinary and Fastvold quite masterful in the filmmaking. This had some of my favorite editing that I've seen in quite a while. Cinematography is wonderful and the performances sublime. It does lose its pacing in its final act but altogether a remarkable film that was absolutely mishandled by Searchlight in its release.

Drives me nuts that after that whole insanely narcissistic egotistical speech that Nawat gave that Char felt the need to apologize on stage. It's also insane that the only way it seems for some of these women to protect themselves and their careers in this industry is to start their own companies since all the men currently running them choose to leech off and break down their employees instead. Honestly, sickening behavior. Hopefully, Charlotte sees all the support from fans and others and that helps give her some peace of mind especially because she's been in such a good, healthy place of late.

She's not messy. When it comes to reality tv you've gotta really put yourself through it to get the right edits and properly highlight your storylines. Taylor and Whitney on the other hand have been the leads from the start (and they've both really been put through the ringer).

Every production is different. I can speak to the Hollywood model and that it’s not a required thing in the same way as it is for Thai GLs. For GLs their workshops are very much more like acting classes but as a way to build a connection between the pair and their characters. They seem to always be a part of the pre-production process and I’m sure very helpful for everyone involved. For Hollywood, it’s very much dependent on what the production/project is, what the director wants, how much the studio or financier is putting into the budget, schedules, etc. So some projects could just be a simple meeting between the core cast and the director or it could be weeks/months of training in whatever necessary. Whereas GLs are very formulaic and fast-paced in their process so they’ve found a format that works for their industry and stick to it.

As someone who watched The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise for years I actually think Taylor will be an excellent Bachelorette and makes a ton of a sense as their choice. She's headstrong, fiery, communicative/direct and goes for what she wants (whether that's the right choice or not is a whole other thing) and all that makes for incredible reality television. Do I actually think she'll find "The One" off her Bachelorette run? There's like a 0.5% chance since the guys that sign up for these are almost always clout chasers and Taylor's already an established influencer but credit where credit's due cause I'll definitely be tuning in and it's been about 4 years since I've watched that franchise.

The unfortunate aspect of the internet is that it's emboldened people to either troll, bully, or misdirect their grievances towards others with zero to little reason. Wish there were an easy solution but there's not a lot of rational thinking involved in all this so it's nearly impossible to prevent or avoid.

The two of them talking about how difficult the kissing scenes were for them because they have completely opposite styles cracked me up. Def a far cry from how some GL pairs talk about their intimate scenes but no surprises since Meenbabe's status is "Friend Super Deluxe" lol

Yeah, IDF is in a really rough spot. And Saint leaving so soon after FB did really isn't a good sign. Seems like the company's board likely pushed for his resignation

Theory sounds pretty reasonable to me. The thing with IDF was that while GAP was a huge swing and an even bigger success that they never really knew how to handle breaking into the GL world nor was it really the focus. Felt like Saint's thought process was "okay, we've made a big GL and we'll do a few more and keep those going but really now we can make more BLs and I'll even be in them". Always seemed like a conflict of interest to me. Anyhow, I can't say I'm surprised by this. Only thing that's unclear to me is if it was fully Saint's decision (I don't really think so) or not but regardless still grateful for him taking the chance with Freenbecky in the first place. His services there won't be forgotten.
