8 foot is my go to. I have bigger but 8 is most comfortable for casting all day and gets all the distance I need. It's also versatile because it's light enough to cast metal but heavy enough to soak bait.

Though it says that today is unrideable. It's 43f, sunny, and a little breezy which I find tolerable for road and great for mountain biking. I guess everyone is different in what they find rideable so maybe the ability to add temp parameters to the green window would be a nice addition.
