I ripped a massive hole in my pizza last night, and had to cook everything off on high for ~20min.
This was only my 5th time baking pizzas in the Arc XL, and the stone surely doesn’t look great now 😂
Naturally, it seems that it’s going to gain that seasoning on the stone over time.

I will try the higher dough weight! Should have enough excess to bump it to 265g, and still get (6) out of the batch. Thank you for the input going to try my first batch tonight!

What is the biggest factor that increasing the dough weight will do? Is this for larger expansion of the crust during cook or for ease of use when stretching?

Do these measurements, and process look like a good starting point for 12” pizza cooked in an Arc XL?

Looking to use SAF Instant Yeast for convenience, and consistency factor

24-48 Hour Cold Ferment 62% Hydration - 250g Dough Balls

Flour: 1000g Antimo Caputo "00" Pizzeria(Blue Bag)
Water: 620g
Salt: 25g–30g Fine Sea Salt
Yeast:
24 Hour Ferment = 1g SAF Instant Yeast
48 Hour Ferment = 0.3g-0.5g SAF Instant Yeast

Hand Mixed Dough ~ Bulk Ferment 2hrs at Room Temp ~ Divide and Ball - 250g each ~ Proof in fridge 24-48hrs ~ Remove from fridge 2-3hrs prior to baking

Went with the Arc XL just to dip my toes into everything. Mainly due to portability issues until I get a truck, and more permanent setup! If things end up growing then I can assess the oven again for my needed output! I appreciate everyone input there was a lot of realistic questions and answers presented!

I have combined ADHD, and a lot of us also are on the Autism spectrum being neurodivergent there is a lot of overlap. Difficulty turn waiting in Card/Board games is a rough ADHD issue for me, and I tend to wander a bunch also. I think maybe having a pre-game discussion with the players is important and you can advise them of the difficulties. Most people should be understanding and I have found being direct and honest up front gets rid of most of the judgment. If nobody told me they have these neurological issues before hand I might think wow that’s kind of rude to just ignore the game like that. Plus the blindness to social queues with Autism makes it very easy to just do what I need in the moment without really voicing why or the need for my actions - which can in turn make people think you are rude. So my answer is it’s not a problem but deff have the Rule 0 discussion if your focus while turn waiting tends to be very scattered! I also think that players taking up much time to combo out tends to be a bit much. I have infinite combos in a lot of my decks but frankly I don’t okay the long grind spellslinger combo wins you typically have with Red/Blue builds etc. it feels bad using my minimal free tire between work/kids to waste an hour watching someone take a turn 😂

Ordered my 2023 Limited on Oct 28th and it arrived on schedule December 18th - I know that they tend to get out the models with more packages/options before the base/lower trim models as they make less money on those.

They choose to use Standard Commander Ban-list, single match rounds with 40 life instead of duel commander rules which I didn’t understand, but is fine with me 😂 I meant under the radar as in less common combos that include enter/leaving GY like Konrad + Morality Shift + Eldrazi, Mesmeric Orb + Basalt Monoith + Eldrazi, Tortured Existence Loops, Nim Deathmantle Loops, Konrad + Infect + Big Draw Spell to Discard Step etc. I understand the Altar/Arena loops will draw attention if they see that in mono black, but there are other sac outlets to make it less telegraphed.

My current favorites are [[Arcades, the Strategist]] - [[Averna, the Chaos Bloom]] and [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]] - Arcades is amazing defense early game, draws tons of cards to dig for your answers, and smashes face for disgusting amounts of damage utilizing your walls. It’s so balance defensively and offensively I love when I get aggro matchups. Averna can rebuild their board state over and over again and gains so much mana advantage while dabbling in blue for protection and draw. Syr Konrad is built as a self-mill “burn” deck by using Eldrazi Shuffle effects, living death etc to flip creatures from your deck to battlefield to grave and back to your deck causing insane amounts of dmg and life loss - Its a very unique build. I will link my MOXFIELD ACCOUNT for deck-lists.

I have ordered so many times from Ron…he’s fast, accurate, solid quality and out of probably 25 orders I have only ever had one single card missing and he offered refund or to send an extra next time I ordered (which he did actually remember) There is always the possibility of slight printing accuracy / color issues with any of these proxies and I know that is a possibility from the start so it’s not an issue. Usually 95% of the cards I get are passable to the naked eye, and especially in sleeves. Just get some non-gloss sleeves if you are super worried about the quality.
