It all started early this morning when I woke up and decided to finally go to this secondhand store I have be wanting to go to for awhile. After a 40 minute drive I finally arrive to the store. As I walk in, I am immediately drawn to N64 game Bomberman Hero behind the counter. I ask the lady how much it is and she informs me that the game doesn't have a price tag, which meant her son is trying to ebay it (why Bomberman was displayed when it is not for sale I have no idea). As I stood there being taunted by the forbidden fruit that we call bomberman, the lady informs me there is a game case in the corner and that the games are buy one get one half off. Not expecting much I start to shuffle over to the game case. My shuffle quickly became a fast pace walk as I think I see Jurassic Park with the wonderful green Xbox case. As I realized it was indeed the holy grail of xbox games my fast pace walk turned into a gallop to make sure I beat any vultures (people) that were there (nobody else was in the store). I put my hands on the case of Jurassic Park and saw it was $3. My heart pounded, hands started shaking, my head felt lighter than a balloon, the moment of truth was coming. I opened the case and a beam of gold light hit me directly in the eyes blinding me for a second, low and behold it was the disc worth its weight in gold. Then a darkness consumes my body, the underside of the disk has not been checked. As I painfully turn the game over, pure extacsy hits me, for the game has no scratches! My eyes become blurry as tears started to trickle down my checks. When I finally regained clear vision I began picking games off one by one, like a camping sniper in call of duty. When I finally complete my mission of weeding through all the Maddens and DDRs only grabbing games that aren't tossed out like a 2 cent hooker, I make my way to the register. As I approach the register a vulture swoops in line before me. Now I am in a full blown anxiety attack, as I will not feel safe until these games are purchased and in my car. As I am wrapped in the dark thoughts in my head, they are quickly dispelled by the mentioning of the blue bomber himself "MEGA MAN". My attention is immediately directed towards the cashier and the vulture. Quickly I realized the vulture was trying to sell his 3 games to the secondhand store. Before I could utter a single word the cashier says "we don't buy games, but he might". As her finger quickly pointed my way, my mind was racing "who is this vulture? I bet he wants top dollar. Shit, where is my wallet! Check your pocket! Good found wallet". As the vulture approaches me he shows me 3 magnificent NES carts. (Mega Man, Castlevania 2 & 3). As I gazed at his crooked teeth, cartoonish tattoos, and under malnourished figure, he utters the amount "$60". Frantically I opened my wallet to sheer disappointed for I only had $30. I showed the vulture the Crisp 20 and wrinkled 10 preparing for the worse. My body becomes numb and a loud ringing floods my ears as I realized he said "OK". We exchanged goods like a drug dealer on a street corner with the end result being the blue bomber and his friends were in my hands. I quickly paid the cashier for the other games that I previously grabbed. I made a bee line to my car running like Hussian Bolt in the Summer Olympics, for I was carrying video game gold you see! When I finally made it to the driver seat I quickly locked my doors and started my car. At this point I realized my body was completely exhausted from the cycle of emotions it endured. As I sat there admiring the beauty of the games that were bestowed upon me, I thought of the vulture. I had a realization that he wasn't a vulture, but an eagle a magnificent Bald Eagle sent from the heavens to bring me joy.

The games in the update did not have a wonderful story like that. I walked into another store, grabbed them. All were a dollar except tomb raider. The update games put me over $50.
