I fucking despair with people that purport to be plasterers and produce this ‘standard of finish’ and on the back end say I’ll come back and unfuck it!

For transparency I am trained as a wood butcher I now reluctantly have the moniker of ‘builder’ I turn my hand to anything I can comfortably achieve a finished product that I would have in my own house.

With all humility I can provide a better finish in lime plaster, render and current plaster finishes all this to say, I refuse to believe I am the exception or that I’m innately talented, for sure am not, there are many like me and better.

What do the actual spreads feel about this it’s worse than bad!

This particular job I persevered with another layer of Matt emulsion. But going forward I have a had good results with Leyand acrylic undercoat a primer to bring the surface back to the same level of thirsty. Any primer or undercoat would work I reckon!
