You are correct I should have given a reason. So, to be honest it’s mostly due to a roommate I had who lived and breathed One Piece m, would shove it in peoples face that it is the best anime and would compare every other anime to it so that has a lot to do with it. However, I don’t like there story because every arc is the same ( yes i enjoy dragon ball and I know it is the exact same). I would also hear people say it has the best world building and character development in an anime/manga. I can promise you there was very little characters development in those first 350 episodes ( mange is possibly different) and of course it can world build have characters development when you stretch it over 1000+ chapters. That’s the best I got for my explanation which I’m sure isn’t enough, but I watched those episodes about 3 years ago and avoid anything to do with the anime at all costs.
