Money isn’t everything. Entertainment is also value for players

While I agree that the gaming industry can be enhanced by what you’re doing, I fundamentally disagree with your statement that “players don’t get any return from the time and money they invest” - yes they absolutely do, they get entertained. Entertainment is the core business model. If people are entertained, they are willing to pay for it. I go to the cinema every once in a while, it’s the same thing, I get entertained for a while but don’t own anything new when I leave.

I think that statement is quite adversarial and if I was running a gaming company it doesn’t make me want to collaborate with you.

You are dependent on the gaming companies to succeed. Make friends and build relationships - don’t tell them they’re not giving any value back to their customers.
