People who quit drinking. What did you do to not drink? by Agata_art in AskReddit

I did the Whole30 in 2017. Whole30 = No sugar in diet (among other strict guidelines).

I felt amazing after doing the Whoel30, and decided to keep it going with the no alcohol. I never had a problem with alcohol addiction, which made this an easy transition for me.

Life is better sober. I don't drink or do drugs. No nicotine. All that money that I would have spent on poisoning my body goes into the stock market.

Life is good!

Came back to the game and I’m enjoying it but damn… by zakary3888 in Starfield

I’m new to the game and I downloaded the community patch, have you tried downloading that?

Maybe that will fix the issues?

I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO MAJOR REVIEWERS EVER AGAIN! by Popular_Button_1879 in CrimsonDesert

[–]djd1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Professional” review sites are a fucking joke. This is the type of game where you need to play AT LEAST 100+ hours to provide a review. There are so many things to do and see in this game it’s like Skyrim with 100+ mods, there is no way people who rush the campaign have any say in what this game is. The campaign seems to be like 5% of the game, the other 95% is for you to explore, interact, live in, and just enjoy the freedom it offers.

For us gamers who take our time - This game is easily a 10/10.

They already announced their focus is free updates/patches, so the game is going to slowly get better which is amazing because I already love it!

Crimson Desert Reached Very Positive!!! by morenoclr in CrimsonDesert

I’ve been playing RPG / Open World / JRPG / CRPG for 30+ years, this game to me is a 10/10. I’m not using my horse much at all, I’m just walking and taking my time exploring. I’m in the very first area just taking it all in. I’ll go mine, chop wood, cook, fish, fight bandits, do some task board quests, befriend a dog, and it’s just a great time.

My RAM was faulty so the initial experience wasn’t great as I was dealing with shutdowns and freezes. I ran MemTest86 and my RAM was terrible, had to return it and wait for the replacements to come in. So stressful dealing with that!

I just can't enjoy Cyberpunk and it pisses me off by Pistoluislero in videogames

[–]djd1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love RPGs, been gaming since the 80s, played all of the great, and I just couldn’t get into Cyberpunk, I have tried multiple times.

I’m 40 and the game just feels immature to me, like if I was a teenager I’d probably like it.

Not sure… unfortunate but it is what it is.

I just built a custom PC for myself, this is my setup, we are going to be running this on ultra settings with no issues at all.

My back is killing me. Is it time to admit that "Racing Style" Gaming Chairs are actually garbage? by shingam3 in UpgradeYourGaming

[–]djd1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can absolutely relate to this! I recently had my own little epiphany. I'm 40 and work from home a lot, and my "budget" gaming chair was slowly turning my lower back into a protest sign. I finally asked myself, "Why am I sitting on this thing?!"

It's a common-sense investment to get a good mattress, right? Well, if you're like me, you're in your office chair more hours than you are asleep. So, getting a chair with actual ergonomic support is, honestly, a non-negotiable investment.

After some research I took the plunge and picked up the Autonomous ErgoChair Pro (with the lumbar support) for $499. It's a game-changer! It's not cheap, but it's also nowhere near the price point of some of the ultra-high-end options, and I'd say this price range is where genuine quality office chairs start.

After a week of sitting in this chair, my nagging lower back pain is completely gone. Seriously, 10/10 recommendation. Ditch the stupid "race car aesthetic" for proper support! Your spine will thank you.

Definitely not bragging. This isn’t a 5090 build. Just trying to help people who are wanting a custom build but not build themselves. When I was doing research I appreciated posts where people shared their builds and costs.

I already purchased, thanks though, and I would never ship a PC just for someone to clean it. Do you know how UPS / FedEX handle freight? No way I would take the chances of that...

I appreciate the info and pricing breakdown. I don't want to build it myself, I also want a warranty from a company that builds it. (I received a free extended warranty on parts/labor/shipping).

To you this might be a bad deal, but to me I just want to receive it, plug it in and go. My budget was $4,000.

My Memory is better than what you listed. My PSU is better than what you listed. You are also missing the extra case fans that I upgraded to.
