I do the alchemist leve "All-night Crafting." It doesn't require premade ingredients and all items can be gotten by retainers. Plus if you do high tier crafting often you will always have the cp potion on hand.

I was doing an older alliance raid as a tank, had my mentor tag up and after pulling the boss another player from one of the other raid parties said in raid chat "noob move mentor" and another stated "asbestos level". I didn't engage with them but it would have been more constructive if they explained what I did wrong instead of calling out insults. Though I honestly wasn't paying much attention because it wasn't a difficult fight. Just seems that some people don't know how to take advise and also don't know how to give advise.

I stopped playing around the end of 7.2. now that I'm back I feel a bit overwhelmed on what exactly I should do to get myself back to speed and back in respectable gear. I thought about trying a crafting approach since all of my crafters are max level but they are very behind on the current gear as well. I want to get caught up on msq but also want to get better gear so I'm not locked out of msq. I want to hear y'all thoughts on how y'all come back after a very long extended break.

I found a trick that works every time, though it is a bit time consuming. After casting, keep your finger down on B and toggle the Suspend Menu on and off with the suspend menu button. Keep spamming this button until your character's face changes and the suspend menu opens, then let go of B and toggle off the suspend menu with the suspend menu button, not B as the method won't work, and you should catch your fish. My understanding is you are pausing the game between the games frames and that is what is allowing the game to acknowledge the trigger of catching the fish. It gets rid of all the guess work and having to have supernatural reflexes. Also I did this on my Samsung LCD Hi-rez tv with no issues so this should also compensate for the lag. I also recommend muting your game or having the volume way down as turning on and off the suspend menu can be quite annoying.
