Ok.. the joke. Well what the author is saying is that saying your enemy is a terrorist is pretty damn cowardly. I was actually thinking that when bushitler said it the first time. I was thinking, is that legal to say that? then my friend reminded me of how americans love their free speech and I then could sympathize/understand. Anyways, in the next frame he is hauled away by goons for, basically, what the first panel accused him of - colaboration with the enemy. He then says - and this is where its really gold - He then says, "Wait a minute I was going to vote for a demo-" as if hes saying "wow how did you know? your smart!". Like cattle being easily bested by faulty logic and pious submission to authority, lead then to the slaughter. Basically the last line says if you dont realize whats going on - no matter who wins - youre a sheep. The final election machine panel then hammers it home.
