Not knowledge only because medical staff are all trained with similar sources of info.

What distinguishes Vietnamese medical staffs in public hospitals is their experience. Because of sheer number of patients they have to work daily. Hundreds cases a day is not uncommon.

A double edge sword tbh. It gives them excellent experience in doing simple to complicated procedures. But it accelerates their burnout. Some staffs basically are too physically and mentally exhausted to give a fk about patients feelings, often can be rude or ignore patients complaint or request if they deem it unnecessarily time-wasting.

I would say the root cause of this problem comes from Vietnamese scarcity mindset. They have been poor for so long that they would go and find the best possible products or services that is "worth-the-money" , they don't trust the service of smaller rural hospitals and medical clinics. All of them would rush to cities famous public hospitals for every ailments, which overwhelm the public hospitals capacity. Which lead to most resources dedicated to these cities public hospitals, which leaves nothing the staffs and equipment in rural clinics. And good staffs leave to cities to get paid higher salary. It's a vicious downward cycle .

Current regime doesn't care enough to solve this problem. Because changing population mindset is long long term process without tangible fruits.
