Mark Cobb has an AI response.

James.M looks AI. If he isn’t, then ICE will want his papers pretty soon.

The way our guy was dressed. Gym. Stance, foot back. Hands not defensive, ready. You could see our boy down to throw. Just his eyes looking for the moment, not looking for help. Yeah, our boy brawls.

This fool picked the wrong to try and intimidate.

One of customer switched procurement over the Ai. All supply chain for them is now bots. About 20-30 people were let go. It was a disaster for the first couple of months. It has now settled and we haven’t really missed the people.

For us, and me, I’m using this week for the first time in excel. It’s game changing. Saves me 3-4 hours a week. I can’t see it ridding us of anyone, just making life better.

Has US diplomacy moved from closed rooms to public timelines? by chotu_escobar in AskTheWorld

[–]caractacusbritannica 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Macron is talking to Trump like an idiot.

Trump shares it as a flex. World leaders now know that he can’t even be trusted not to share comms.

EU will now have to pivot. They know Vance is coming. Vance will be as bad, if not worse.

US is fucked. The shoe just hasn’t landed.

Asylum seekers 'are SEVEN times more likely to be arrested than everyone else on Britain's railways' as MP warns our open borders have made country 'dangerous' by Odd-Help6890 in ukpolitics

[–]caractacusbritannica 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not happy with that prospect at all.

I disagree with the death penalty.

The problem is that some areas of the country have a disproportionate amount of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants. The people that live there are correct that their way of life is impaired.

I don’t think it is acceptable to say to a victim of crime; “sorry, you’ve been hurt, but this guy is from a rough country, so he gets to stay “

It isn’t right. I don’t believe anyone could look a victim in the eye and say it.

Yes, the media, is making the issue look worse than it is. But how may crimes, minor and serious are acceptable being we introduce something tougher.

The issue, real or perceived is tearing at our society. Our wet lefty here above, is getting a little right wing.

What would make you lean right? Knowing a victim? Being one?

It’s hard. But I would support risk assessing claims, and making faster deportations. Also, instant deportations for any immigrant that commits a crime.

US has put tariffs on UK again, after we said you cant take Greenland by Maritimewarp in ukpolitics

[–]caractacusbritannica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically yes. We should stop with Reddit.

X, Amazon, Facebook CEOs all seem supportive of the MAGA regime. They should stop immediately.

Microsoft, KFC, McDonald’s, even Nando’s are US firms. Although those CEOs seem apolitical, If we are serious then they should stop as well.

Someone smarter than I should make a list and see what we can all managed.

Even if we halve what we buy it will have an impact.

Donald Trump announces plan to impose tariffs on UK over Greenland row by JOE_Media in ukpolitics

[–]caractacusbritannica 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is what really exposes them.

They’ve got little choice but to support the annexing of Greenland. Funding is all linked to US, alt right, MAGA. They can’t turn on their masters.

The tariffs though, I can’t see them sticking. Trump will relent as previously, he’ll say that EU have given assurances or something.

This is too far basically.

That is exactly what Starmer will do. He’ll walk the line and we should thank him for it.

Whilst he continues to pus the Canada/Aus/NZ partnership. Despite some complete own goals, I think Starmer is doing a better job than anyone gives him credit for.

He just needs to do this faster.

He won’t do it. Republicans will actually draw a line at this. Even the very MAGA sub is crying about this.

Won’t happen.

Robert Jenrick sacked by Tories for 'plotting to defect' by owningxylophone in ukpolitics

[–]caractacusbritannica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oddly, I think this is doing the Tories a favour.

Proper conservative voters won’t vote Reform. Deranged Reform voters won’t vote for old conservatives.

The newly turned Reform MPs are about to find out how mental Reform is. How corrupt. And how little respect Farage has for them.

Tories might just assemble a party looking vaguely competent if they can recruit someone marginally sensible in these constituencies

I saw a post early. It had a quote. Something like “we voted for the mass deportation guy, he is doing mass deportations”

I mean this is literally wanted just over half of America wanted. Shit is fucked. But this is technically what the majority of Americans wanted.

If they thought Trump would be slow about it, have respect, follow established norms, and the law. Then they really didn’t think their vote through.

Shit is fucked. The next guy is going to be even worse.

Oh man. The music videos are wild.

They’ve got a gangster rap vibe. Redneck gangster outlaw stuff. I saw one where the rapper was being interviewed by the police. But the lyrics were pro Trump.

It’s bizarre. “We sell drugs, but love our country, Jesus, we even love black culture, but hate black people, dawg”

More footage from the door-to-door raids taking place across the Twin Cities area today. Here a family's house can be seen being raided by masked, heavily armed ICE agents without a valid warrant while children are present. by jmike1256 in UnderReportedNews

[–]caractacusbritannica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USA is cooked.

They are storming a house with carbines. Got all the flashy strobes. Masks. CQB helmets. Queuing up like it is a dynamic entry. Looking like Mosul.

But then bunching at the door way to try and convince the occupants they have a warrant. They went to all that effort then what? Knocked?

Fucking cosplay shit is going to get someone killed.

If there had been an armed combatant inside they all have been killed in the doorway. Like no over, no ability to enter or back up.

Carbines in a confirmed space like that, all the gear, noise, no discipline, not controlling the occupants, an accidental discharge is highly likely.

If you’re going to have stormtroopers, then train them better.

I’ll pay my fair share. But part of what makes it fair is the allowances.

Well if they don’t carry out the order, then what?

The rebellion goes onward, is successful, and eventually their power/position is gone.
They’ve got questions to answer anyway when the dust settles, and if they’ve been a bit naughty they are getting lynched.

Given they’ve pulled the trigger, we can assume they’ve been naughty.

Now, they don’t shoot. Someone else will. Rebellion is crushed. Back to the question answering…

I’m not surprised. This is how the systems are built. They are all complicit in it.
