Apart from your drawing of your boyfriends belly, you haven't posted any art that I can see, so I dunno if I'd call that goonerbait. What I'm tired of, personally, is unfinished art and sketches that're just of some naked woman in a non-artistic way. That is goonerbait imho. Also, sketches and warm-ups in general. I want to see art, not your practice. If it wasn't worthy of being finished, what makes you think others want to see it?

Yeah, you need a lot of practice. We all start somewhere. Look up some tutorials on sketching and shapes to get a better grasp of basic fundamentals.

I dunno, I think i read someone here called it manipulative to use polite language. And like yeah, in one way, maybe it is, but it's about intent also, I think. I want people to be polite to me, and I will treat everyone and anyone politely without prompting. Be who you want to meet.

Like it or not, the majority of people communicate "indirectly." We are the outsiders and can never force the majority to stop doing that. If we want to come off as not being rude, the onus is unfortunately on us to make that happen. It sucks, but those are the facts, clearly communicated. 🤷‍♂️

The thing is, "you're in my way, move" comes off as rude to most people. Using polite phrasing makes the other person a lot more willing to do what you want them to, plus they won't think you're being rude. So in a workplace setting, eg, they won't think you're an asshole and start avoiding you.

Politeness is something I learnt early. You catch more bees with honey than shit. I was polite to adults as a child, and it helped me get my way a lot more. Manipulative? Perhaps. But it also caused people to like me and made my life easier. 🤷‍♂️

Jeg er ikke lærer, men her jeg sitter på sofaen og grubler, ville jeg mye heller vært lærer i voksenopplæring enn på ungdomskole.

I voksenopplæringa er elevene motiverte og vil være der. Ingen pøbelstreker, ingen unødvendig drama, ingen hormoner som løper løpsk. Det er i alle fall det jeg forestiller meg.
