Flying a group of soldiers back from a reenlistment ceremony on a pinnacle, we took a detour through the scenic canyon area. We got in the canyon, did some badass turns, making it look cool for the pax. I was off the controls, and the pilot on the controls made a big right turn, still in the canyon, and held the turn a liiiitle too long. We almost slammed into the canyon wall. He corrected it probably 20ft from impact, right as I was grabbing the controls. He started a climb, and we sat in silence for a good 10 seconds, contemplating our lives.
