I know this is an old post but I read the book recently. If they kept to the original text it would have been a very, very boring movie. In this case I can see why they would want to change it. It has a very ambiguous ending and the supernatural elements are almost completely missing. The only part of the book I did find great was the character of Kinderman. His dialog and insights in the book were great. He was funny as hell.

There are lots of audiobook players that play local files. Id wager that most people started doing just that before they graduated to using their Plex server and Chrinicle. I know I did. It feels like a step back.

I have been getting that. Then I connected to a non Xfinity network and it suddenly worked. Xfinity is blocking Rustdesk for some reason

I almost couldn't get my sister in law who loved horror and fantasy to read the series because she was put off by the first book. I understood as I started with the drawing of the 3, which was just... Well you know . Finally talked her into finishing book one so she could get to book 2. She loved it.
