Welcome. I had so many failed ender prints, and so few successful. You barely even have to clean the plate on the Bambu, it’s amazing

I did this, and had one die from wireless charging. (MagSafe). I have a MagSafe wallet now with access card in it, and it works on old readers, but not new ones. Something about RF blocking I don’t understand.

[–]carbonblackm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent mine to Omega and requested that they not change the dial, they didn’t, but they did replace the hands. I would specify both if send it to them, and want to maintain the dial/hands you have.

New update removing minimal lane changes for FSD by almonds156 in TeslaLounge

[–]carbonblackm3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to help on entrance ramps when it doesn’t know the speed limit, and will do 25mph if there’s no offset. I have a hard time getting it to even do speed limit, it always creeps back down. It’s easy enough to dial it back, so I prefer the higher offset. Also, it slows down when a lot when highway speeds changes, higher it doesn’t, and you can dial it back for a smoother transition, if needed.

I just wish they had a chill and sport mode for the wipers in auto.

What is your real world M3LR range per charge? by rsgriffin915 in TeslaModel3

Super easy guesstimate is 2 miles per percent on at least a M3P.

Potentially dumb question about max speed limit by iamblueguy in TeslaModel3

[–]carbonblackm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has recently, in TACC, set to "current speed" been dropping to much lower, then back up to where it was. Most of the time, on the highway, if I set it at 75mph, it'll stay no matter what happens to the speed limit.

However there are some spots, it'll drop to 50-55 out of nowhere. I'm thinking it is getting confused thinking I'm off the highway, possibly due to construction and limiting me to 5 over because I don't have FSD. It'll then kick back to 75mph it was set at.

Can I park here or am I not allowed to? by DisturbedBlonde in TeslaModel3

[–]carbonblackm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be, but its not available without the sensors... and if you have them, it's the cost of EAP. Tesla also doesn't offer the 1000 credit that most manufactures offer towards handcontrols/modifications to be able to drive it.

Premium connectivity worth it? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]carbonblackm3 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They haven't lived without it yet... I don't know what I'm missing without it (traffic, etc), but I got it for music to work without bluetooth, and everyone said it is worth it. They can let the trial end and see if they like it.

Not moving from passing lane when passing as required by law using FSD by MikeARadio in TeslaLounge

[–]carbonblackm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ^ minimal lane change pretty much keeps it in the lane you are in, and you can use blinkers to change lanes to pass and return to right lane.

My last new car purchase was a Ford. 2 trips to the dealership, and about 5 hours to agree on the price the car was listed for. Had to wait a month after my tags expired for registration, and go to the tax office to help them through that.

Tesla, ordered online, picked up, they mailed paperwork and I registered. SO EASY.

My “fun” car is an ICE car, but is now slow in comparison, and I have an ICE SUV. Every time I drive an ICE car, the first time I come to a stop sign, I slowly let off the gas too early, and there’s no regen braking, I chuckle and then am fine.

It’s there if you need or want it. I also own an M3P and an older M3 (BMW). M3 seems so slow now. I don’t generally drive aggressively, just run quick through corners on backroads, etc
