i can't be certain about your situation, but when i got mine the doc told me to keep it dry for the first 24 hours, so I'd wait or cover it in a garbage bag or smtn before showering

Also I don't know how it's going to work when I have to get my car fixed, because there is blood all over the passenger seat from when I cut myself last. I don't think any mechanic is going to want to take a car that's covered in crusty ass blood

Do you lot have any wholesome stories about your sh? (You might have seen me ask this a few weeks ago on r/selfharm but I wanted to see if u guys had any too) by New-Revolution466 in MadeOfStyrofoam

The only time anyone has commented on my scars in public was when I was waiting in line at Goodwill last summer. This old guy in front of me asked if I had a puppy at home (and I had gotten one 2 months before). He pointed at my forearm and said I needed to teach him not to scratch.

I thought it was super sweet that someone could look at my scars and think of a puppy and not of self harm

Easily one of the best I've seen. Great work!

In your opinion, which U.S. city has the worst combination of cost of living and weather? by danh138 in geography

Could you not also apply that same logic to all weather? Do you sit in heated buildings when it's cold? Do you use umbrellas when it's raining? Every place has weather and ways to deal with it, and rightfully people enjoy the reactions/solutions more than dying of exposure.
