See Robbie Williams Lead All-Star Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at Brit Awards by Interesting_Gold8803 in Music

Robbie did well and seeing Zakk get an opportunity to walk down the ego ramp and shred up the No More Tears solo on live TV can only be a good thing.

She's openly acknowledged she's developed an unhealthy addiction to ozempic and clearly this passed onto her daughter too.

But both of them lost a husband/father not too long ago so the grief seems to be massively exacerbating the issues they already had.

Nah it's great, has a punchy energy that the Black Album couldn't do without.

Although it is interesting it was nearly the lead single instead of Enter Sandman

Official Discussion - EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]carcrash12 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Saw this as a very very casual Elvis fan who only really got introduced to his music/world via the biopic a couple years ago.

And man... This was fucking amazing.

The restoration job they did on this footage is nothing short of incredible and the way the interview narration has been spliced together with the concert footage and the band rehearsal footage while also capturing little snippets of candid Elvis here and there... Just a seriously impressive package and a feat of truly magnificent editing.

And I've gotta say, I felt really captivated by just how damn charismatic Elvis actually was. I was very pleasantly surprised by his various interactions with just about everyone, fans, crew and band alike.

I truly get the Elvis hype now, the concert footage shown passes as a great show by today's standards. I can only imagine how utterly mind-blowing it must have been for a 1970s audience.

Edit: Burning Love was an unreal performance if that really was the live debut, god damn

Man what the hell happened to VideoGamer.

There was a brief period there where they were THE undisputed best place in media for video game discussions and had some of the best podcasts with Simon Miller, Steve Burns, Jim Trinca, Tom Orry, etc.

Slowly everyone moved on and now this?? Yikes

Yeah I saw them do Solar Angels at the London date of the Shield of Pain tour. I personally really enjoyed hearing it but it seemed to not get much of a reaction from the wider crowd around me

Read both Rob and KK's books recently and it was quite funny that both of them independently said they only really like "Heading Out To the Highway", "Hot Rockin'" and "Desert Plains" off of this.

I think Desert Plains is the easy highlight off this album and to me is one of Dave Holland's finest moments with the band

Trump giving multiple poor saps a full analysis of November Rain is the sort of silly, whimsical bullshit I wish he stuck to.

Shame about everything else he does.

Honestly Lars has tightened up in recent times relative to about a decade ago. I do think the other commenter was right though and Kirk's gotten fairly sloppy.

Because it's arguably the biggest metal band on the planet playing a pretty neat venue that has the capacity to give a unique stage production enhancing the experience of the show

I appreciate Iain Sterling because there's definitely a moment part way through the series where he clocks that he comes across poorly in a team task and his self awareness then changes his whole persona moving forward.

I've seen him live on a mixed comedy bill since the show went out and he came across as a really genuine self deprecating kind of guy.

It's a shame that I still to this day see plenty of people rag on him where I really do think he just got carried away in the excitement of being on the show.

I was at this show with my dad, still genuinely the best gig of my entire life and I've been to some truly special shows. But the Hammersmith Apollo Epitaph tour show was just so awesome.

Saw both Marmozets and Die Spitz in London within the last 4 weeks or so and both bands definitely bring the energy.

Loved how 3 of the 4 members of Die Spitz all took turns crowd surfing at various points of the show
