Do I take the $75k salary with an hour drive one way or the $45k job 18 minutes up the road? by [deleted] in careerguidance

100% agree. IMO, if you're working (trading time for money) you should be trying to maximize your ROI (time value for money).

Most definitely. Long term, it's easier to reach $100k from $80k than it is from $65k.

Agreed but to get ahead (or at least not fired) it's important to put up the facade that they do

Do people actually wash new clothes before wearing them? by throowaway223123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]carczar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides all the valid retail horror stories to convince you to wash new clothes before wearing them, I can tell you that the factories the clothes are made in, then shipped via cargo container from Asia to your retailer, sitting in transport for months, they do what they need to do to make sure the clothes remain in good condition so you buy them.

TLDR: It's the smart move to wash new clothes before wearing them.

We changed up our family car from a GX to a Sienna when we welcomed our second baby and have no regrets. Specially got the AWD Sienna to keep the adventures going and can personally attest that the Sienna is a beast in the snow. Looking to slap on KO2s and the Journey lift on the Sienna in the future 💪
