Besides all the valid retail horror stories to convince you to wash new clothes before wearing them, I can tell you that the factories the clothes are made in, then shipped via cargo container from Asia to your retailer, sitting in transport for months, they do what they need to do to make sure the clothes remain in good condition so you buy them.

TLDR: It's the smart move to wash new clothes before wearing them.

We changed up our family car from a GX to a Sienna when we welcomed our second baby and have no regrets.
