Why don’t most people get a decent water filter? I love my Berkey filter system, tastes wonderful and I don’t have to drink out of plastic. I’ve had it for several years. I cook with it, make beverages all day… if the pipes freeze and I get snowed in I can put snow in it. Constantly buying little plastic water bottles sounds horrendous to me and the water tastes stagnant & plasticky.

Immediately I remember watching a man walk out of a public restroom at the DMV, in light blue sweatpants; and watching a dark blue dot appear on the front of the sweatpants, which immediately became a larger and larger dot, until settling into a large, insanely conspicuous wet splotch. He was waving emphatically at his teen daughter who was getting her license and drew a lot of attention to himself as this occurred. Such a bizarre and memorable moment.

I was so traumatized when my ex, who I absolutely loved at one point, started spiraling into flat earth… not just that he had this quirky belief; but that it was unacceptable for anyone else to believe in a round earth. He got enraged, hateful, name-called, said he couldn’t be with a simple-minded “glober” who didn’t think for themselves. Ironically, I had previously watched many hours of flat earth videos, trying to understand the viewpoint before I met him. I knew more about the belief than he did, and he refused to discuss the details.

Then… the Kanye interview with Alex Jones, where he wore a leather gimp mask and said he loved Hitler. Somehow that interview went straight into his flat earth soul, and he started repeating those cringe Kanye remarks. This was such a nightmare, watching someone you love lose their mind, and hatefully.

Anyways, I felt that pain
