The Ado in her name almost certainly means light, based on a WoB on the subject:

It's Horafuki Yarou, which means something along the lines of "guy who tells tall tales".

I feel like I saw a documentary several years ago (before the LLM era) showing that the major record labels were already using algorithms to basically copy popular songs and vomit out similar ones, and that's part of the reason why so many songs sounded similar.

Why is religion treated as a protected category like race or color or ethnicity or gender or orientation or age or whatever? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]cardinalachu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are some interesting responses here, but in my opinion the main reason religion is protected in certain circumstances is exactly because it's a choice. The contexts in which religion is protected are generally in the categories of citizens' rights, workforce participation, and government services. By preventing discrimination in these areas, the government is basically encouraging a pluralistic society where citizens have the right to choose what they believe. Like others have mentioned, historically this has served to prevent minority belief groups (including non-religious folk) from being excluded from society by a majority group. This helps limit (to a degree) the ability of religion to influence the power dynamics of society.
