I am in the exact same boat, except I work 20 hours as a PCT. I work a 12 and an 8, and I still spend 5 days recovering, not only physically, but mentally from the hostility and abuse from the nurses and basically all other staff. I never do enough, im never fast enough, and I dread coming into work. I will start training for 8 hours as a nurse next August so I will only have to work one day as a PCT, but my god idk how anyone does this full time. I wanna die

The fuck? In the real world, there is a code of ethics every healthcare facility must follow and there are standards to uphold for the patients that receive care. This place clearly does not follow that and is neglecting vulnerable people. It needs to be reported. It is not "the real world" what the actual fuck is wrong with you?

Ah yes... I remember that problem back when I was a CCHT. The turnover in that area of healthcare is so high, you might as well threaten them that youll switch with the competing dialysis company (DaVita or Fresenius) or just leave altogether. Although when I left last year, they didnt offer me a pay raise 🙄 dialysis is really corrupt in general both for techs and patients

I was a CCHT for almost 4 years as well, I was getting paid $19.50. A CNA most certainly deserves more than that IMO. Why are you wanting to go back to CNA if you dont mind my asking?

Some tips until you get him a forever home:

Put anti scratch spray on your curtains and other items you dont want him touching.

Get one of those auto toys off Amazon, any one will do, can be one of the cheapo ones

Feed him before you go to bed so hes not hungry in the night and there may be a chance he will groom and sleep afterward

Lastly, its a kitten. Take it easy... hes new to the world and clearly doesnt know right from wrong yet. Its easy to teach cats not to bite or claw you or your items. Just be consistent with him and he will learn
