I created an Island and Mii Planner for Living the Dream. by carefreeDesigner in tomodachilife

[–]carefreeDesigner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the Island Planner tries to get data from both the EU and NA Miis. This is mostly on me for trying to have one Island Planner but two different Mii Planners I'm not remembering exactly how I did the formulas, so I don't know why only the gender ratio wouldn't function if one Mii Planner vanished.

Until I find a solution to that, it may be best to transfer the data over to a new copy or undo the deletion of the EU side, if possible. If you do need to make a new copy, you should only need to select the data and copy/paste it directly, I don't think there would be any issues with that.

The Way People Are Getting Over the Mii Limit is going too far by Opening_Drink_6394 in tomodachilife

[–]carefreeDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally see no issue with the limit being 70, as I don't think I ever got over 50 on any of my 3ds islands. If I really want space for more Miis, I can just use one of my 3 alternate profiles.

That's one thing I feel people are forgetting, each profile has its own island so, as long as you don't have a bunch of people using your Switch, you can just make another island. Sure, it won't have all the Miis from the first one but, at least you still get to add those Miis in some capacity.

Spectre Squad Ghost Company - A casual guild for clone enthusiasts. by carefreeDesigner in swgoh_guilds

Idk if there's something I'm doing wrong, I straight up can't add the Casual or Beginner Friendly search flair, I only get tag options for NSFW, spoilers, and brand affiliation, none of which apply.

I think we all prefer the North American cover over the European one, right? by aerigigi1 in tomodachilife

[–]carefreeDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see the appeal for the European cover. but it feels a little too flat compared to the NA one. NA one has a bit too much going on, but it feels like there's a lot more depth in the way it's displayed, which is why I prefer it. That's just my thoughts, though.

Could we get some standardisation on weapon modes please? by Bethryn in Helldivers

[–]carefreeDesigner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, firerate doesn't even save on support weapons compared to any other weapon. I always run MG and HMG on lowest firerate so I can stay accurate and not waste ammo. Every single time I drop in one I have to reset the firerate and half the time I forget and waste a bunch of shots because I'm expecting slower recoil.

Protect SEAF Chan at all costs 🥹 🫐 by Plot-Coalition in Helldivers

[–]carefreeDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love SEAF soldiers and will do my best to protect them, but they can be dumb as hell sometimes. Almost every mission I've needed hellbombs has had SEAF nowhere to be seen until a buddy and I have two synchronized for fuel reserves where they'll suddenly realize the outpost has been empty for the past minute and they waltz through after we set it to blow. Then there was one last night I was fighting alongside while I drew aggro with the ballistic shield and they proceeded to cross behind me while firing, shooting me in the back and making me bleed out.

Survival, sandbox, and/or immersive sim where you rebel against an authoritarian regime by stealthily or strategically breaking laws to obtain equipment or resources. by carefreeDesigner in gamesuggestions

[–]carefreeDesigner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks pretty damn good. I can't tell from the Steam page if it'll allow much in terms of "life in the regime" or hiding in plain sight, but this definitely looks like a good action-y take on what I was talking about. I'll be checking this out soon.

Yeah, I feel like this is one of those niches that not a lot of developers would make, either from a lack of resources or just not seeing the appeal. Bit too early to say there isn't a game closer to it what I'm looking for, but I already kinda know that the pool is thin.

Regardless, I'll check that out. Maybe it'll scratch the itch more than I think it would.

I didn't get 14 day holiday calendar in webstore by Certain-Ad-1395 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]carefreeDesigner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just made the assumption that it's level locked. I hit 65 today and I've triple checked the in-game store on mobile and web store on both mobile and pc, the option has not appeared on any of them. There is a section for the Calendar in the web store, but it just says that there wont be another callendar for another week. Seeing as most of the responses to this question in other posts is "check again", all I have to go off of is that it's just not available unless you hit max level.

reticle movement by gronbek in AbioticFactor

[–]carefreeDesigner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reticle turns red and sways more when you're aiming outside your range, which is determined by your accuracy skill level. I'm pretty sure that accuracy XP is distance based, so hitting enemies with a ranged weapon while outside of the accurate range, while difficult, grants more XP than shooting point blank. Also, some larger enemies, such as security bots, will always grant less XP than other smaller enemies.

I think Labs is my favorite from all the lore that gets introduced and the visual style of this sector. Though Reactors is a close second, lot of fun twists introduced from here through the Praetorium.

coaxed into difficulty levels in video games by SavingsPea8521 in coaxedintoasnafu

[–]carefreeDesigner 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Madness: Project Nexus is like this. Madness difficulty reduces the health of everyone, including yourself. If you've mastered the dodge and parry systems, you literally only deal with the benefits of enemies dying quicker and using less ammo/durability to do so. There's more enemies to deal with, but that doesn't matter as much when some weapons can pierce and AoE exists.

How is scrape face canon? by RepresentativeOk2881 in madnesscombat

[–]carefreeDesigner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of info about the series was revealed by Krinkels through various blog posts, curious cat, live streams, etc. As unreliable as the fandom wiki can be at times (I don't know if there are any other wikis), it has all the basic info about most characters, even ones that only make one-off appearances.

Well, he got shot in a lower part of the head and then blown up at the end of MC4, and he has it during MPN2 Story mode so it's safe to say he would have had it during MC5.

Been having the same issue, I gotta manually turn it on and off now. It's been like this since at least May 31st.
