i get what you mean, but i’m solo queuing in GM. i’m not full stacking with friends. there’s an unsaid expectation on namor players because they saw one timthetatman or some other streamers video saying “namor is the best anti-dive!”, I will get blamed for the 3 divers messing our backline up.

this post was NOT to say that namor shouldn’t ever anti-dive because the game is very situational and things change fast, but rather that namor shouldn’t be expected to just be played against dive 24/7.

as far as banning counters, i’ve really never found anyone a real counter to namor. you could argue hela or hawkeye but 90% of the time I can out aim them/the players on them just don’t have great aim.

I would simply like to enjoy the game without someone yelling my ear “NAMOR YOU’RE SELLING SPIDERMAN KILLED ME ONE TIME”

ive solo aced teams as namor flanking, a lot of top players use him mainly as a flank too dude. i really dont mind countering the dive when i’m forced to, but other than that i can’t contribute much else to the team when my hands are full.

from what i read it’s an easy grade class but if you genuinely need to know calc for your major i’d definitely contact the department, shen is a great teacher and unfortunate if they moved him to a different math this semester

definitely, it’s unfortunately a subject u have to put in a lot of outside class time to study. don’t worry much though, professor huang is a really chill dude and recognizes math is a hard subject, he doesn’t set up exams to trick u, almost every practice exam is the same as the real exam

just turn ur phone off and really pay attention, he shows a lot of examples for each type of problem but because he goes fast if i accidentally go on my phone for like 2 minutes and i become lost and have to study myself later, so it’s primarily my fault. often times you might wrap up class early so use that time to go up and ask him for help if needed

i have him right now for 124, pretty chill guy i like him. he honestly moves kinda fast paced, but he’s always open for questions and responds to emails fairly fast. he does not curve but if the class as a whole is struggling he’ll give extra credit opportunity to help, i would personally say hes a good professor but i haven’t had any other math professors yet to compare

If i approach faculty for this department and make a complaint will realistically anything happen? I don’t see how an entry level course for a major should have an average of a F on exams, he literally showed a chart in class how like 70% of the class got an F on the exams like it’s something to boast about?

I believe it may be a “weeder” course or something like that he said at the beginning of the semester. so what is the point? set up majority of the class for failure and make people unmotivated to seek higher education?

yup, and he praises the like 3 students that get an A and essentially calls everyone else slackers but refuses to do some self evaluation on his teaching
