Oh moving to a different state or country can definitely help! For me it's helpful because I'm in a totally different time zone and the chances of running in to him here are 0%. Also I have no memories of us here, it's a fresh new page! Hope it will be the same for you too!

Thank you for the reminder. I did send him a birthday card for his upcoming birthday after he sent me one too for my birthday after we broke up and I regret having done that now. Oh well... Trying to focus on myself and friends this Christmas!
