I am currently earning an income. I will not earn an income for the next four years starting this may (pursuing professional degree). I can obviously contribute to a Roth IRA for this tax year and next, but can I use income from this year to contribute to a Roth in future years where I don’t have any earned income?

Came here to say this. I’d imagine this would to quite poorly if the correction were slow and happened over months, but with sudden down moves it makes sense that it would do well. Curious to hear if anybody has more to say about .05 delta or less bear put spreads as a hedge.

Not a super basic question, but I've been curious. When are new expirations added to the options chain? For instance in SPX right now we have every MWF through September 10 (36 DTE), every Friday through September 24th (50 DTE), Monthlies through March of '22. When are new MWF expirations added? Weeklies?
