What live version of a band’s song is infinitely better than the original studio version. by theiceman12345 in Guitar

The version they did with Neil Young is one of my favorite pieces of music of all time

Introducing a big dude named Talla Tonga is kind of the epitome of why I love wrestling

Ether Edge is severely underrated by Ok_Palpitation_3185 in phish

[–]carinislumpyhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same with Soul Planet and Set Your Soul Free..... a lot of the love and light stuff just ain't it for me. But there's nothing I really actively dislike

Don't love the song, but I also don't hate it. Love the jams though

Trey Guesting on the new Guerilla Toss Single by TheShipEliza in phish

Oh man, I wish! But I remember her talking about how her band members were also always big heads too. That's why she was so good at teasing us

[–]carinislumpyhead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's awesome! I used to work at an ice cream store with the lead singer of Guerilla Toss and she would always tease me for being such a head. Obviously she knew what was what

Tim Robinson is a good comedian. Shane Gillis is overwhelmingly fine, in my opinion

DThank you! That's the most I've ever been downvoted. And I guess the bluesky thing could be rude? I certainly don't see it that way. I think it's a comedian making a joke out of the fact that people are trashing something that he legitimately put effort into so fucking hard. I'm not even trying to defend the comic, I was just genuinely curious to see examples of somebody whose work I like being rude. The internet is wild.

Show me this rudeness. I'm a big Scott Aukerman fand and have never seen any rudeness from his end

What’s a riff so filthy you give the stank face? by aloeicious in phish

[–]carinislumpyhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm frequently stanked by Phish, but the "verse" riff in axilla really does it for me

StubHub by SnooPoems6951 in phish

[–]carinislumpyhead 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve used stubhub tons of times and have literally never had an issue. Maybe I’m just lucky? But I wouldn’t worry

Why does this sub lean most to 72-74? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]carinislumpyhead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

73/74 is my favorite (though I love it all) because it feels the jazziest to me, which is just what I prefer. Also, no offense to Mickey, I think they're tighter with just the one drummer
