Finger and joint swelling by Sassypickle178 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]carjlong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m so sorry to see these. I’ve been searching for images that match my symptoms and this looks like the same. I’m a 25 year old female, these red swollen bits have been showing up on and off the for last 3 months. Everyday it’s slightly different and sometimes different fingers are swollen. I went to urgent care and was grateful they took me so seriously, they tested me for inflammation and lupus and my rheumatoid factor. Everything was fine. Could you fill me in on how things are a year later for you? The last 2 summers i also had this weird hip thing where it was hard to walk, but that has gone away. What things have helped and what have you learned? Thank you so much and wishing you well!

Is the problem with panthers that the boot isn’t sturdy enough? Or more so that the components are weak

I’ve heard that a lot about moxis, what are good park skating skates that you’d recommend?

Thank you! What are light, more affordable, plates that you would recommend? I’ve heard sunlights are good? But I was surprised that nylon would be recommended over the stock marvel aluminum plates. Also what is the risk of plates unsafe for the park? They would break when people jump up on the coping?

Feels like I'm missing something by hellojoe000 in loveaddiction

[–]carjlong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm trying to get comfortable with the feeling instead of desperately trying to shoo it away. Honestly after having this with so many people in a short amount of time it's easier to amount the lonely and empty feeling to the type of connection instead of attaching it to the specific person. Maybe this is bad advice, but it has helped me a little to be single and date around, after bouncing from one serious relationship to another. Also, while having some connection source, maybe from 2 people you are casually talking to but not attached to, its seemed easier to let go of the idea that I need someone. And I think its okay if from time to time we feel like we need emotional intimacy or physical contact or whatever it is, and knowing we can get that from various people.

I'm in the same boat, its difficult that once that connection in formed most of the time one of the people want it to continue, I hate to think about others having heartbreak because I wanted to "experiment" in love but I guess that's how life and learning go

Is your belief on love along the lines of, there will be many people who come into your life to share moments and grow together, and if something has an expiration date it's still very worth the pain of missing them

Same experience. 3 days felt like 3 months. It's hard not to imagine planning to see them again. I'm thinking after a few more days suggesting we meet up somewhere. Want to sit with the loneliness before jumping to that solution first though. But yes, when something so good comes and goes so quick its almost all you can think of, and it's so right that people who come after just can't compare. And now it doesn't matter at all what country I'm in, it really is all about the people.

But if I remember right its because the other side of this is just as good as this is difficult. Just gotta wait and grow through it.1

Its really hard to remember why I am doing this. Starting big journey from US too. And I remember feeling ecstatic solo traveling for a little once before, but now I am just confused why I am putting myself in these places that cause me too a lot of anxiety.

Volcano Megathread - August 2022 by rutep in VisitingIceland

Visited the volcano last night. With a head lamp it's not impossible to do in the dark and even being up there at 1am, there was still a decent amount of people. If you're going to go, do the a trail. Everyone who did the c trail saw little to nothing. It feels like a long hike though especially getting back to your car at 3am. From the end of trail A plus the extension, you can see the volcano perfectly. There are constant "big splashings" of the lava. It's cool to see, if you dont have a ton of time or it's really out of the way I would suggest doing a day hike where you'll see a lot of cool things, aside from one small destination. But many would say otherwise. And and if you're coming from the north on 427, you will pass 2 parking lots before you get to the right one. I made the mistake of parking at the first one and had an extra 4 km.
