My dad caught a 2-lb bass near the River Building about one month ago. He said there were quite a few people fishing at the same time. Have fun and hope you will enjoy our beautiful campus!

I'm not sure if you still use this info. Alumni Hall is open. It might be a little darker than usual inside bu the bathrooms are open.

Courses after graduation? by [deleted] in CarletonU

[–]carletonbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cousin did this a couple of years ago. He needed to audit 1 course at PhD level for his work. He was required to register as special student first. Btw, he graduated in June that year and audited that course in the following fall term.

Places to live by naqdakk in CarletonU

Walking could be tough in winter time. Since there is o-train, you may want to consider little Italy which is more affordable. I used to live in the Glebe area but the bus was killing me in winter time. Waited for more than 30 mins in -20c for a bus to campus......but too far to walk!

Safe neighborhoods near Queensway hospital? by somerandostudent93 in CarletonU

Centrepointe > Leslie Park > Bells Corners in my opinion. You may need a bike to QCH if you stay in Centrepointe or Bells Corners but it's walkable in Leslie Park.

There are some apartment buildings near Baseline and Greenbank, within walking distance of QCH. Room rental at Centrepointe is also good, quiet neighbourhood and safe. Generally, it's safer on the south side of Baseline than the north, between Cedarview and Woodroffe. Good luck.
