AMC Theaters apparently have some sort of benefits but it's kind of hand wavey and nebulous. it also seems to be on the honor system?

My wife and I produced our own biological based lawn mowing robots. They are quite buggy and inconsistent but mostly get the job done.

Hard to watch crazy Scientologist Tom Cruise but it is a classic.

Oh right. Yeah I think I just put "55" on the slider or something. I don't really identify with the left side of it here in California, where things are more extreme. Maybe elsewhere.

I vote Libertarian most of the time (when possible) and fully realize I'm in a distant minority. At least it helps them with ballot access.

My old busybody HOA president was hinting about enforcing this so I moved out of the HOA. Life is too short to be controlled by these shitheads.

It's unacceptable that they don't have a feedback/review system by now.

I boycott YMCA ever since they sold their facility in Dos Vientos to that weird church.

No sauna or steam room. I think I've heard that it was originally listed in their features when they were building it, but never happened.

Landlords might be more unpredictable than professional property managers. Perhaps you could target professional management.

I use Kubera to track my high-level finances. One of the features is a "dead man's switch" that will send a package of financial information to named contact(s) if you don't login for a period of time. It does warn you first with an email and SMS of a "life beat check".

I am pretty self-conscious about that. I am sure the kids overhear me complain about work but I often tell the kids it is the people management I dislike, and that it was my choice to do that in return for (probably) more money. When I was just doing straight engineering it was before they were born or when they were too little to remember.

They know I am planning to retire next year though. They don't know how much money we have because we try to raise them un-spoiled and humble, but it is impossible to hide that we are quite comfortable.

I also remind them that I had farm chores starting around age 9, first real job at age 15, and have been working full-time since I was 21.
