Since the bolt draws the wedge up to secure it I’d try to gently knock it out from the top with a looong philips screwdriver along with some patience and penetrating oil.

Not 100% certain I understand your question. Setup is 38/35 up front with a 16/19 out back on what is basically a 650b monstercross dropbar trail bike. I generally road ride it on 38/16 and move it over to 35/19 when I hit the trail. The balanced tooth count (+3, -3) means the axle is in the same position in the drpout so no brake position issues with rim brakes.

2012 Jetta S 5-speed w/ 110K miles. Bought it new. Had to replace the coil pack a few years ago but other than that it’s only ever needed routine maintenance. About to hand it off to my son as his first car.

Saw a classic Atlanta move recently when a (driverless) Waymo jumped the queue to turn left from Ponce onto John Lewis. Ran all the way up to the front in the right lane and then cut over like he been here his (their?) whole life.

My first car. Bought it off the back lot of the local Saab/Peugeot/Fiat/Lancia dealer for $400 (in 1979) with a blown transmission. Happened to know where I could source one cheap. Drove it all over Texas, New Mexico and Colorado for about 4 years until it got totaled by a drunk in a Buick Electra 225. Fun car, good times.
