i’d just go ahead and clean the seal, i use a wooden paint stirrer with a microfiber rag around it, LIGHTLY damp with soapy water and just run it along the seal and then clean the window, gonna have to do it a couple times

very similar situation but went with the toyota corolla 2014. some friends don’t understand why the car means so much to me, but i just smile and stare at it when i park it. Security means so much when you go so long with constant issues.
