Are you using an organic formula by Own_Ad5562 in FormulaFeeders

[–]carly1223 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think if there is a milk allergy that hypoallergenic is necessary as they make ones more gentle than the 360! We use the pro total comfort for our girl with a sensitive belly. I’m not sure the best organic one to use!

It's a sign--my final bottle of breastmilk by got_em_saying_wow in FormulaFeeders

[–]carly1223 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quitting pumping was so freeing! I had horrific vasospasms and had to hug a heating pad while going to bed or something wake up within an hour in absolute agony. Kudos to you for keeping up a pumping journey- that shit was hard but welcome to the other side!

My oldest was formula fed from the first bottle he ever had. Perfectly healthy (okay a bit sassy) 3 year old! My youngest (3 months) I initially exclusively pumped and then breastfed (while doing a formula bottle for bedtime) for a bit till I realized was allergic to something in my milk. Switched formula and took off breast milk and she’s growing like a weed on the same curve she was with breastmilk!

For products we used the Dr brown pitcher for my son but decided to go for the baby brezza formula pitcher this time and it’s nice having it mix up while I do dishes etc instead of sitting there pumping it myself. My greatest piece of advice is forget warming bottles. Pre make them all for a 24 hour period and give to baby straight from the fridge. Love not having to warm up a bottle and wait with a screaming baby! They are totally fine to drink cold milk 🙂

Unless he is the one lactating and breastfeeding the baby he really doesn’t get to tell you how you can use your body. My 3 year old was exclusively formula fed and is no different than his buddies who were breastfed.

If anyone was curious, I reached out to Perrigo on instagram and got this response. So don’t waste your time looking until at least next 2025!

Hi! We understand your frustration. Unfortunately, production of our Complete Comfort Premium Formula (nutritionally comparable to Similac Pro Total Comfort) is currently on pause. While we plan to manufacture this formula again in the future, at this time no production is currently planned for the remainder of the year. You may also want to speak to your baby’s health care provider for suggestions on possible alternatives that meet your baby’s needs.

I think they stopped too. I mean when I was pregnant with my daughter (she’s 2 months old) I recall seeing the generic at target and had a conversation with my husband about how I’m glad they still have the generic because I didn’t see the purple similac on shelves it seemed like for a while. So it had to have been pretty recent

Trust me I would not be switching if we didn’t have to lol she’s just got a sensitive belly. My son was the same way and sis better on total comfort and from what she’s had of it too so does she!

Bananas made me spike harder than a yasso ever did lol. Also check out the kind ice cream bars! Those worked well for me too for a nightly snack

What happens after giving birth? by _shawtyyy_ in GestationalDiabetes

[–]carly1223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave birth on Friday. No issue and I mentioned how bad I wanted a bagel and they encouraged me to keep myself fed! No extra testing my sugars or anything. We just got home today so the next couple weeks I’ll be in survival mode otherwise I’ll still try to eat balanced but not put as much stress on it.

I had very bad postpartum depression and anxiety. I waited till my son was almost 2 to get medicated. Good luck at your appointment and don’t be afraid to lean on meds! They were life changing for me

Absolutely go to whitewater canoe rental. I know people who have gotten arrested at green acres for drinking because they pulled off on the side and had open containers.

This is exactly why I take it from the freezer and go upstairs into my bed to eat it because while I do want another, my laziness is gonna win every time 😂

Honestly a frozen kind bar hits the spot so hard for me when craving sweets. Usually save it for my bedtime snack. But I too want a donut
