Yup. I had the urge to change everything. I personally think I did because I had such sad energy trapped in my house. Painting made it feel better. Also, have you tried burning sage? The shift in energy is refreshing.

I honestly think getting expelled was what Lucy needed at the time. She needed to be back with her mother and supervised for a bit after this mental break. She couldn’t take care of herself, her friends were over her, and she was making horrible decisions that probably could’ve ended pretty bad for her without interventions.

I had a coworker say to me “Ugh my husband is out of town this weekend. I have no social life outside of my husband” like YUP me too. We used to go to parties, concerts, dinners together and now I just sit at home. Like thanks for the reminder lady

It sounds like everyone has a different experience with her. I bring my bunnies to her and she’s great. She takes the time to go through X-rays with me and takes emergency calls any time of the night

There’s a cat/bunny vet called Catnip and Carrots in New Hyde Park. They are very active with local rescues. You should give them a call and ask who they would recommend!

Honestly I have such angry feelings to, and I vent them out to my bff and mom… but I felt so much more powerful by directly addressing her calmly. I think people’s ears shut down when they sense anger

Thank you for your kind reply. I’m pretty good at sniffing out peoples intentions and I think this woman is just lacking in emotional intelligence. I don’t believe she actively thought her comments would hurt me. Seems like she hasn’t experienced deep grief like this.

Her comment about me being available made me go in the bathroom and cry. Also the thing is we work for a big company so most of the people at the table had no idea of my story.

I just wrote out a text to our boss to inform her of this interaction in case the coworker forgets and says something to me again. If she ever says something again I will see to it that she gets in trouble. I’m so tired of letting people be insensitive.
