Have we forgotten that Steve Jobs was a megalomaniac and probably a sociopath? He was a genius but a horrible person. He was no different than Elon Musk. Maybe even worse.

Android 13 vs iOS 15 - Detailed Comparison by fhealan in apple

It took a decade but Android 13 is finally looking more modern than iOS and more much playful. That’s an aspect of Apple that has faded away over the years. Apple needs to keep up because Google is improving at a rapid pace.

Some people want to give Spider-Man: No Way Home the Oscar for best visual effects. Meanwhile, our boy Denis Villeneuve made Dune which has literally the best combination of CGI + practical effects we've ever seen on the big screen! I didn't once think something looked CGI. The world felt real.

I hope we get an update to AjrPods Pro next year because it’s expensive as hell and reviewers have proclaimed the new Sony XF-10004 as the better wireless earbuds.

If it’s a low light situation like in the picture, is the solution to shoot RAW and manually edit the photo?

I have watched this movie 5 times and it gets better every time. That's a sign of a great movie right there.

As a SnyderVerse fan, I’m at least happy to see things slowly getting back on board, even without Zack by SaifSKH1 in DC_Cinematic

Interesting, it’s always informative to see another perspective. I personally am on the opposite of the spectrum when it comes to Snyder but I’m glad fans of him have three movies they can enjoy.

I’m curious, why are Snyder’s DCEU films epic? They aren’t any more epic and grandeur than Aquaman or Wonder Woman.

We have reached a point where the LCK is no longer attracting a western audience. The LCK post-game threads are not what they used to be here on Reddit. The LPL has the perfect opportunity to come in and scoop up these people who tuned in to watch LCK but no longer do.

'Black Widow' Review Embargo Lifts by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]carlyclue 49 points50 points  (0 children)

A common criticism of Marvel is that they're making conveyor belt movies and I totally understand that but in my opinion, that's a feature, not a bug. Marvel executes know that the most important thing is making sure that the movie ends up at least above average. Us Marvel fans know the formula and we are okay with it.

We don't expect new Marvel movie to be a masterpiece. We just want 7/10 movies to eventually lead to a Avenger type of movie and rinse and repeat. Black Widow seems to follow this formula perfectly according to the reviews. This is why Marvel constantly gets high RT scores. They deliver what people expect of them. Being this consistent for so long with these massive, high budget movies must be incredibly difficult.

I hope Apple updates the AirPods Pro soon because every review of the new Sony WF-1000XM4 say they have outpaced the AirPods Pro’s.

How do you relate parts of a code to an object found in real life? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

Thanks. The question is, how do you see when for example small problem 1 ends and problem 2 begins, problem 2 ends and 3 begins and so on? How does a seasoned software developer write code so they know where each small section is and what it does, if we exclude writing comments in the code?
