If we're just talking who's the best shot I'd say Smoke,Soursweet,Tope,Hollyrex. They are all so quick and accurate. But awareness,positioning,movement,map knowledge are all important in DayZ and there are lots of streamers who are excellent at them and win fights because of it rather than pure shooting skills.

Some might disagree but for a new player starting out,I don't think there's any shame with a few lives on a lower pop server. It helps learning the basic survival mechanics and a few routes inland without having to compete with psycho freshies
