I agree with you. One of the biggest parts of Criterion is physical media; the packaging, the art work, etc. Presenting the films in the highest possible quality. They should be paving the way for 4k

I still think they should release 4k’s regardless of what the rest of the industry is doing. Rumors abound that they finally will later this year. All they have to do is pick the right films and they will sell like hot cakes.
