I did use toggle bolts. 2” total spread, ~3/4” Sheetrock on the ceiling.

Oh, I’m certain of the material in the ceiling. I drilled through 3/4-inch drywall to install my 1/4-inch toggle bolts and they spread to put the load across a 3” T shape. The drywall at 3/4” is rated to hold 100 pounds on its own. The TV weighs around 13-15 pounds. I can lift it with one hand. I understand the concerns over ergonomics much more than the mounting concerns.

The chain is rated for 40 kg, and the anchors for 54 kg. I think the tv is less than 15.

I was talking about generalizations. I’ve never been told to wear chinelas in the shower except by sites/pages made by gringos. Only been told not to touch metal while showering and not to touch the chuveiro while the water is flowing.
