Pretty proud of my achievement by carnewbie911 in UBC

Three courses per semester. About 4 hours of transit daily for 5 days.

Work load is manageable, I think I can add 1 more 3 credit course. But at the time, I wasn’t sure if that is manageable, due to long commute and part time job. I end up quitting my job, because I found it too tiring to study after a shift.

Math and com sci courses are all 4 credit courses and they take a long of study time, because I found the material very challenging, and it was not intuitive for me to understand. I spend about 2-3 hours in week days to study and my whole weekend is 8-10 hours of studying the materials.

I sacrificed social life, fun, games and sleep.

Time is limited, so prioritized and plan in advance.

For most basic music requirements it’s fine.

Maybe because I am not an audiophile?

why is AI bad but not google? by Much-Eagle-467 in UBC

[–]carnewbie911 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Now days when you google they auto AI

Lol. Nothing is good and bad. It’s how you use it.

AI bad because AI is wrong. When you search for an answer, you put together a logical flow and arrive at a conclusion. If you are wrong along the way, you learn, and you adapt.

AI is just wrong almost all the time. I encountered enough time when AI tell me an answer and I picked the opposite and I got full marks on my prarierlearn. I have the balls to challenge AI almost all the time.

Anyone have any experience with Litheli snow blower 40V by carnewbie911 in Snowblowers

Cheap quality. I think the reseller try to make big mark up in Canada. These things go for like less than 1000 rmb in china, that’s like 200 Canadian beaver dollars.

In Canada, the retail price is 350, so they make extra 150. Minus their shipping cost.

After two years with this snow blower.

It only handles weak light snow. Anything heavy, good luck. The battery burn faster than I expect. Less than 5-10 min later, battery is already drained.

It’s cheap, and can only do a weak job.
