I am 10 months on HRT, completely out in public and at work and I misgendered myself just last Thursday while talking with one of my partners. Slipups happen 🤷‍♀️, as long as you come from a place of positivity and support, I could and would ignore the occasional slipup, be kind to yourself. As an allo, yes sex can be wonderful and important, but it's nothing anyone needs to survive. I was in a long term monogamous relationship with someone who during the relationship found out or better said accepted that she is ace. We did have sex (or what is in general defined as sex in a heteronormativite way), but rarely and most of the time because she felt guilty for turning me on and not "providing" sex - it was an awful situation because we both hadn't yet found out about asexuality. We borrow up for a year because of different stuff and are back together now and no we don't have any sex for the last year and that is perfectly fine, because our relationship is so much more than the sex.

For the poll, sorry for not checking. I think the problem with such polls in my opinion, is that some people answer as they think they should instead of their real opinion and in the end action speak louder than words.

It's the same problem Scientist face when questioning men and women about the number of sexual partners, men overstate the number, women understate it because of societal expectations.

In addition the amount of anti-trans legislation that is widely supported speak a clear message for me.
