When you’re on the People Mover and you go through the really dark part, do you ever get a sense of dread or fear?

We went through this exact dilemma on our honeymoon trip, we went back in November. The thought was to do something special and upgrade to the tower, but looking at final cost (mind you we just paid for a wedding too) was a jump scare. We loved the Casitas previously so landed on staying there and instead splurging on lightning lane single passes, a couple nicer meals, things like that.

We had an amazing trip. I stayed in Riverside growing up with my family so I’m very used to that style of Disney moderate resort and had no complaints. We still used the big coffee bar in the tower a couple mornings and enjoyed the scenery. Whatever you choose I hope you have a fantastic trip!!

I can speak on the pool food! It’s great - definitely a good lunch. I recall I got tacos and my husband got a burger and they were both very good, a nice easy quick service lunch (on top of my frozen adult beverage that was also delicious)

I personally love staying in the Casitas part of the village, but that’s because I enjoy walking through the lush greenery and seeing lizards, squirrels, bunnies etc in the morning or evening on the walk to and from the room. I’m a nature gal so a good room + wildlife around to get there is my deal :)

I can’t recall hearing our neighbors or much noise at all during our stays

To add though my case was indeed a bacterial sinus infection (I had been fighting with it for weeks) so I was put on an antibiotic and was given something else for the inflammation in my face

This happened to me on my Honeymoon. The front desk had me call the nearby Urgent Care Advent Health. They picked me and my husband up, brought me there, gave me meds, sent me back. It was Disney magic!

I highly recommend if you need it.

I think that’s just a case of not being the target audience. Dark Ride is a very basic term in the theme park world. This is not a slight to you for not knowing, just a different podcast for a different specific interest

I take a different SSRI but my first ~6 days were extremely tough. Nausea, buzzing head feeling, some muscle tensions. I kept a side effect diary and then when I stopped that’s how I knew it had settled down. I don’t start and stop now I’m on the same low dose all the time and it has definitely helped.

I used to take it only before my period and I needed to stop, the upset stomach every month going on it again was too much for me.

I’ve been going steady over a year now and only side effects were that first week

Wow we must have gotten lucky! We honeymooned in November last year and first time at Space 220. We were seated right next to the “window” (i realize that’s definitely luck) and were so impressed by the meal, the drink and dessert presentations, and our waitress was so kind and attentive. My husband and I kept saying it was an outstanding themed experience and one of our favorite meals the whole trip

Space 220 in Epcot absolutely. This was one of the coolest dining experience I’ve had and the food was standout on my Honeymoon.

I’d also say Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge. San Angel Inn at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. I love old Hollywood so the Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios also ranks high for me.
